Itinerary
11 nights · 13 ports of call- 1
Day 1 ·Fort Lauderdale, FloridaEmbark
12 Feb 2029Depart 16:00Fort Lauderdale lies along the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the New River, 25 miles north of Miami. Its warm tropical weather attracts many people throughout the year. For sun-worshippers, the city has six miles of beaches. There are also many recreational waterways with extensive boating facilities, access to every conceivable watersport, a variety of fascinating museums and trendy restaurants, and an array of entertainment venues. - 2
Day 2 ·At Sea
13 Feb 2029 - 3
Day 3 ·Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos
14 Feb 2029Arrive 08:00Depart 17:00There's a place for those who want to slow the pace of life. That place is Grand Turk, the capital of the Turks and Caicos. That's not to say that shore excursions on Grand Turk don't run the gamut from horseback riding to stingray swims to catamaran tours—and one of the biggest draws here is diving, with the islands lying along the third largest barrier reef in the world. But traffic is sparse, and with a population of less than 4,000, everybody really does know everybody else's name. There are no fast food restaurants or chain hotels. You may even see a horse or donkey, once a means of transportation during the days of Grand Turk's salting industry, roaming along Governor's Beach or through the narrow alleys in historic Cockburn Town. - 4
Day 4 ·At Sea
15 Feb 2029 - 5
Day 5 ·Oranjestad, Aruba
16 Feb 2029Arrive 08:00Depart 23:00 - 6
Day 6 ·Willemstad, Curacao
17 Feb 2029Arrive 08:00Depart 17:00Curaçao is the largest of the six islands that comprise the Netherlands Antilles. It gained autonomy from the Netherlands in 1954, but the Dutch influence is still very visible in Willemstad's architecture and culture. With the growth of the oil industry in Curaçao in the early 20th century, workers and their families came to the island from more than 50 countries, providing a varied and vibrant population. Everyone should experience the sights, sounds and energy of this unique destination. - 7
Day 7 ·At Sea
18 Feb 2029 - 8
Day 8 ·Panama Canal (Cruising)
19 Feb 2029Arrive 06:00Depart 15:00The canal is a marvel of engineering, but the area is also a sanctuary for sloths, eagles, ocelots and toucans, thanks to a lush rainforest environment and tropical temperatures. - 9
Day 9 ·Colon, Panama
19 Feb 2029Arrive 17:00Depart 21:00As the world’s second largest duty-free port, Colón offers abundant shopping. It also represents the gateway to numerous sites of ecological interest, including Chagres National Park, a 3,000,000-acre rainforest preserve, and the Gamboa Rainforest Preserve, which lies within Soberania National Park. - 9
Day 9 ·At Sea
20 Feb 2029 - 10
Day 10 ·George Town, Grand Cayman
21 Feb 2029Arrive 08:00Depart 17:00Grand Cayman is one of a group of three magnificent tropical islands Christopher Columbus called "Las Tortugas" (the turtles) for the sea creatures he found in the ocean water. The designation did not endure, however, for on later maps the islands were labeled the Caimanau, the Carib Indian word for "crocodile." The name "Caimanas" refers inaccurately to the iguanas native to the islands, which were perhaps at one point mistaken for crocodiles. Among other attractions, visitors to the island will enjoy learning about the turtles, visiting the town of Hell, exploring Seven-Mile Beach and enjoying the undersea world. - 11
Day 11 ·At Sea
22 Feb 2029 - 12
Day 12 ·Fort Lauderdale, FloridaDisembark
